On your estate - your responsibilities
Although the neighbourhood services team in partnership with the cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts strive to keep all communal areas clean and attractive we need your help.

By adhering to the following, you could be a more considerate neighbour as well as assisting us in our task:

  • Always dispose of your refuse in the correct manner. Please make sure you place rubbish bags inside the chutes or inside the communal bins to your block. Please do not place any bags inside chute rooms or on communal walkways
  • always recycle where possible. Please use the communal green recycling bins placed on your estate
  • please use the dog loos provided in several of the communal areas for any dog waste
  • please make you sure close the main entry door to your block securely when entering or leaving. Always make sure you only open the door for people you know and are expecting. This prevents unauthorised entry into the blocks. If you notice any suspicious looking people in your block please contact the warden service
  • please place any items of litter in the litterbins or communal bins provided on your estate
  • please report any graffiti, vandalism, spillages or dumped rubbish in the communal areas to us as soon as possible
  • please use the free service provided by Brent Council to dispose of any bulk items in your house. Dumping these items in the communal areas leads to more unauthorised dumping
  • please do not store any items on the communal walkways outside your flat. This is both a trip hazard and fire hazard
  • remember - always treat neighbours in the same way you like to be treated.
