If there are any items causing an obstruction in the communal areas they will be removed by our contractor and stored for 28 days. If the item/s is not claimed within 28 days the item will be disposed of. If the item/s is claimed, a charge of £50 plus vat will be applied. Items left in the external areas will be removed daily and disposed of by the cleaning contractor.

Some residents may be able to receive their collection for free. Every household can get a fridge and freezer or fridge-freezer collected free once a year. For information please contact Brent Council's Streetcare department.
Bulk refuse / fly-tipping
Bulk refuse are items like furniture, fridges, washing machines, car tyres and batteries. The removal of bulk refuse items from housing estates is carried out by the cleaning contractor. Any items must be removed within 24 hours. The cleaning contractor also removes fly-tipped rubbish and builders rubble.
The majority of these items must be removed within 24 hours. Large fly-tips can sometimes take longer to move. You can report bulk refuse or fly-tips to
us. Please note down the following information:
You should not in any event approach or confront anyone you find fly-tipping as some may become aggressive or violent when approached. Please do not touch or attempt to remove the waste.
