Residents who have experienced or are experiencing mental illness can receive practical support, advice and assistance to regain their own means of coping independently.
Eligibility
Brent Housing Partnership has an established team of mental health support officers who provide support to people aged from 26 to 59 with mental health issues and related behavioural problems.
They must have acquired a tenancy and be council tenants to improve their prospect of sustaining their home.
The mental health support officers are not medically qualified. Their role is to create trust and mutual respect between the individual and the support team worker.
