Our communal heating and hot water systems within the borough are currently maintained by our term contractor Oakray.

These systems where fitted are controlled from a central boiler room that delivers the heating and hot water via a network of pipes to individual properties, where additional controls may be fitted for individual requirements.
The boiler rooms generally contain all the necessary equipment to provide these services and are checked on a monthly basis for general faults as part of a preventative maintenance programme which includes annual gas safety checks and temperature monitoring for legionella control.
We are currently working towards integrating remote monitoring of all boiler rooms that will provide an increased response time to any major faults should they occur.
