Intermediate rent in Granville New Homes (GNH) - South Kilburn

BHP gives priority, when we let our 25 one and two bedroom flats, to key workers who are employed in public services in Brent. Applicants in other forms of employment may also be considered.

What is intermediate rent?

Rents which are up to 25% below the average private market rent level in the area.

There is also a service charge in the rent which covers:

• Grounds maintenance
• cleaning of communal areas
• lighting of communal areas
• litter removal and bulk refuse
• maintaining communal TV aerials / satellite dishes
• lift operation and maintenance
• door entry system operation and maintenance
• fire equipment and dry risers
• water booster pumps.

These are high quality homes and include: -

Outside:

• Balconies and terraces for homes above the ground floor
• solar panels, green roof and rainwater harvesting tanks to save energy costs and promote a better and more sustainable environment
• bicycle storage for all homes.

Inside:

• Under floor heating system with individual controls in each room
• kitchen with fridge freezer, washing machine and cooker (some flats)
• double glazed high performance windows with security locks and accessibility for cleaning
• bathroom has a bath and separate shower
• carpets fitted in all bedrooms, hallways and living rooms and vinyl flooring to kitchens and bathrooms
• energy saving measures such as low power light fittings to save electricity, high levels of insulation to cut heating bills plus dual flush toilets to save
  water consumption
• telephone points in lounge and master bedroom
• plenty of electricity sockets.

Communal:

• communal satellite and TV connections in the lounge and master bedroom with access to Sky Plus (Subscription applies)
• video door entry system for all flats.

Who can apply?
