We own and manage our own homes in addition to those we manage on behalf of Brent council. There are several projects underway to either build or acquire new homes:

Granville New Homes (GNH)

We own 110 newly built properties in South Kilburn. Most of these homes are being let to tenants being decanted from council properties as part of the regeneration plan for the area.

Intermediate rent in GNH - South Kilburn

25 of the homes in GNH, available from August 2009, will be let by us to key workers who are employed in public services in Brent. Find out more about the intermediate rent properties in GNH, South Kilburn.

Market rent 1 bedroom flats

We also own a small number of one bedroom flats in Brent which are available for letting to people who live or work in Brent, or have a local connection from August 2009. Find out more about the market rent 1 bedroom flats.

Settled Homes

We have been allocated £10million of funding following a successful bid for grant as part of a project to buy up to 286 properties to provide homes for homeless households nominated by the council.

New Build Homes

We have grant funding from the Homes and Communities Agency to build new affordable rented homes. The first three new houses will be built on a derelict garage site in Aldbury Avenue, Wembley. They are due to be completed by March 2010. This marks the beginning of our plans to support the council in providing homes for people in housing need in Brent. All of the affordable rented homes will be let by the council under a nominations agreement with us.
