Two-thirds of your waste can be recycled. Brent Council would like to thank everyone who is already recycling.
And if you are not already doing it, Brent Council have plans to make it easy to take part.
Most of Brent's residents are already recycling, but we all need to do more.
Brent is facing rising bills for getting rid of the waste we produce. Local people will end up paying more in council tax unless we cut down on what we send
to landfill.
Brent Council are putting recycling bins in estates where this is possible. If you can already recycle in your estate, recycling bins are easy to use.

Bins with the blue label are for newspapers, magazines, clean white paper, envelopes, junk mail, white directories and catalogues.

Bins with the green label are for glass bottles and jars. Please wash and remove lids from containers.

Bins with the red and grey label are for cans, foil containers and trays, aerosol spray cans and plastic bottles. We can only collect plastic bottles. Please wash and remove lids from containers.
Please do not put anything else in your recycling bins because this could stop Brent Council from recycling all of it. Please put anything else in your waste bins.
For more information on recycling, please contact Brent Council on 020 8937 5050, or send an e-mail to streetcare@brent.gov.uk or visit their webpages.
