The Neighbourhood Warden Service tackles problems on estates such as graffiti, noise nuisance, football playing, neighbour disputes etc. 

Residents can call a confidential hotline number to report an incident that is happening or any issues that concern their property or neighbourhood.

Hotline number: 020 8451 5050 (from 3pm to midnight)

The wardens are in constant contact with the hotline operator through a radio system. This means they can respond as soon as an incident is reported. The wardens also carry out routine patrols across the borough.

The wardens aim to respond to all calls within 30 minutes.

The neighbourhood wardens work in partnership with existing services in the area.

They are not a replacement for the police nor do they have the powers to arrest people or to deal with crime.
