06/08/2009 : Residents on the beach

The Neighbourhood Services Team took BHP residents on a trip to Bognor Regis on Saturday 18th July.

Over 200 residents attended the event as well as officers from BHP. It was an enjoyable day out for residents and their families. They spent the day on the beach, visiting the local shops and restaurants.

For many it is difficult to get out of London and the cost for taking the whole family can be very expensive. BHP subsidised the trip and organised everything so that all residents needed to do was turn up.

The benefit to BHP is the opportunity to talk to residents about services and priorities in an informal environment.
