BHP's Anti-Social Behaviour Team has successfully obtained an "Outright Possession Order" at Willesden County Court for a property in Alexandra Court, Wembley. BHP worked alongside the Tokyngton Safer Neighbourhoods Team to evict the tenant who was using the property for drugs and anti-social behaviour.
The tenant was taken to court this month where the judge ordered that BHP could now take back possession of the property.
Sandra Royer, Director of Housing Management at BHP said: "I am very pleased with the outcome of this case. Brent Housing Partnership takes a strong stand against anti-social behaviour as this case has shown. The ASB Team works tirelessly to ensure that cases such as these are dealt with effectively and are committed to creating communities where residents can enjoy a safe and peaceful environment without fear or disruption".
Sergeant Liam Tierney from Tokyngton Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: "Now the long suffering residents of Alexandra Court can have peace and quiet and be able to go about their business without fear or intimidation. We will use every tool available to make the community safer and improve the quality of life.
